If you’re like me, you keep notes on neat things you like or want to buy down the road or when you need something to occupy time on a rainy (or in Chicago, the relentless cold days of Spring). Ok, so maybe I just buy them on impulse with my TARP money.
Anyway, I’ve always been a fan of Amazon’s wish list and have used this exclusively every year as my Xmas list for friends and family.
Ok, I’m not fishing for gifts…
Amazon has a feature to add anything from any other website to your Amazon wish list. It does not have to be just items sold on Amazon. This is something I’ve always wanted to see and am happy to see it there.
Now, as beneficial as it is for someone like me to have one list to manage, this has a benefit to Amazon as well. Consider the fact that this will give Amazon another powerful set of insightful data about products their customers want. It essentially removes the need for product managers to make selections of products to offer.
Any by the way, the Gift Organizer function in Amazon is also worth a look as well. Especially given the new feature mentioned above.
Now, go out and stimulate the economy with some purchases :-)
