Special Olympics

I think the best way for President Obama to show sincerity for his comment on Leno would be to play against one of the Special Olympic bowlers.   Despite his attempt at self-deprecating humor, he inaccurately implied his low score was akin to that of a special Olympian…so, it would be a humble act to take it to the lanes.  How about a charity match against some of the athletes?

As a side note, we all know he meant no harm and the media took another nano-sized topic and inflated it to planetary proportions.  It’s no wonder he uses a teleprompter so often, he doesn’t get a break if he lets his guard down for one night show.

Compliment your chef

Whether you’re out on the town for a nice dinner or eating your wife’s home cooked meal made with love, nothing sends a better compliment than licking the plate clean, literally.   We were out with my Aunt and Uncle in Chicago a few weeks back with the boys.  As you can see in the photo, there was some serious compliments given for the dessert.  I think society should devolve to lower degrees of etiquette and focus on the plate palette.  One could argue it’s more carbon friendly, providing less waste to clean up…Well, less on the plate, not on your face :-)
